Course material will focus on recent research throughout North India and Italy, linking them back to the patterns occurring in the natural world. Participants will learn how to draw a mixture of geometric and biomorphic designs. ( The cursive naturally occurring forms such as plants and organisms, flowing on top of the geometry ) Patterns are analysed and inspired by Jali Screens ~ Stone Carvings ~ Pietra dura & Mosaics ~ Frescos ~ Temple & Garden layouts.
