Mandala Meditation
Art making for the purpose of transcendence, mindfulness, and wellness.
Traditionally, the mandala is used as a meditation tool to search for the meaning of self. This often requires a study of this diagram which we may call the "personality"
- the part of ourselves which bares witness to our vast invisible potential.
Creating your own personal mandala is therapeutic, symbolic
& a beautiful refelction of ones own soul.
Present emotions will be represented in your mandala through the use of organically formed shapes & colour.
By allowing your instinct and feelings to inspire
& guide you through the process of creation, a portrait of yourself will emerge.
When you reach your destination, you will have a representation
of something meaningful and personal that you can take home with you .
A snapshot of you - a brief moment in time expressed through your unique
personal mandala.

~ Testimonial ~
Jaenelle Kinglsey
October 21, 2016
Today I began the process of creating my very own mandala!
So meditative! And I noticed when I just let go, everything flowed...
Just trusting in the unfolding process, and then stepping back and seeing before my eyes how my deeper knowing was guiding me the whole time... It was really my job to just sit into trusting, and from this deeper resonance, being guided from deeply within.

~ The Space ~
Anandā Eco House is joined by a huge deck that is surrounded by the 3 seperate bedrooms, the kitchen, living room, bathroom and toilet/laundry. A truely unique design that immerses you in the natural beauty of the hinterlands.
Each room is surrounded by the green rainforest outside, but when you need the privacy of your own space your room is fitted with blinds and curtains. For hotter months a ceiling fan is fitted and extra blankets and a heater are in each room when it gets chilly.
The deck has a large gazebo with 14 chairs and two big tables underneath. The rest of the deck has built in bench seats, a corner day bed, a pair of occasional chairs and a beautiful hanging rattan egg chair for more laid back seating to relax. The property also has a large patio that is downstairs and separate to the house, that has an outdoor lounge area, some weights, an air bike, an infrared sauna and an ice bath. (the ice bath needs to be booked and set up for you for a small additional cost) The pathway behind the patio leads to the outdoor fire pit where you will find a five Adirondack chairs to spend those colder nights together.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including pans, plates, glasses, mugs, tea, coffee, oven, microwave, blender and a full size fridge. Next to the kitchen is a living area with big comfy couches, reverse cycle A/C, board games and a fire place.
The house is eco friendly and as off grid as possible, hosting solar power, rain water and a composting toilet. The jungle setting attracts birds, wildlife and other bugs which all add to the experience. Not only does the property have an abundance of palm trees and bamboo, it also hosts a variety of macadamia trees, coffee plants, ginger plants, olive trees, banana trees, peach trees and a lemon myrtle tree.
“I have always thought & believed art should be offered and accessible to everyone, its not about grades, technique. it's about self expression. Visual art is extremely therapeutic, euphoric and joyful.
I have been experimenting with the concept of Mandalas and how process art
offers something that is not too scary; it feels more free and safe.
As soon as a feeling of trust takes over, people respond with powerfuland unique creations.
The mind is capable of unfolding, reflecting and shedding chatter
and art truly offers this unique peaceful space.
Someone once said that the mind is a good servant but a bad master;
Humans are so tied up in our minds we tend to lose our senses.
By collaborating with art and nature, we gift our senses the time and space to listen."
"Essentially - the point can’t be explained in words because art is not words - but after a while you will understand the point and that point will be the art itself."
I look forward to meeting you
Steph
